COVIDIEN Dermalon monofilament nylon sutures are inert, non-absorbable, sterile surgical sutures, which are available dyed blue to provide visibility compared to other nylon sutures.

The advanced extrusion process of the nylon molecule gives the suture:

  • Excellent security with snug and flattened knots
  • Minimal memory
  • Excellent and consistent knotting strength
Dermalon sutures are used in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neurological surgery.
