Covidien MONOSOF Monofilament Nylon Suture, Premium Reverse Cutting, Size 5-0, Black, 18", Needle P-24, ½ Circle, 1 dozen/box. MFID: SN5661G

COVIDIEN Monosof monofilament nylon sutures are inert, non-absorbable, sterile surgical sutures, which are available either dyed black, with Logwood extract, or undyed (clear).

The advanced extrusion process of the nylon molecule gives the suture:

  • Maximum flexibility of the strand
  • Excellent security with snug and flattened knots
  • Minimal memory
  • Excellent and consistent knotting strength
Monosof sutures are used in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neurological surgery.
