When Sales Tax Applies

HOSPEQ collects sales tax only on orders that ship to Florida. Orders that ship outside Florida are not charged sales tax at checkout. Because tax is based on the shipping destination, a Florida customer whose order ships to another state is not charged Florida sales tax.

Drop-Shipped Items

In some cases an item is shipped directly from the manufacturer. If a manufacturer is required to collect sales tax in your state, that tax may apply to your order.

Tax-Exempt & Resale Orders

Florida customers with a valid Florida Resale Certificate or Tax-Exempt Certificate can order without Florida sales tax. Email a copy of your certificate to ACCOUNTING@HOSPEQ.COM before your order is processed, and we’ll remove the Florida tax from your order.
